Situated near Louth in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire, the holiday accommodation offers 3 delightfully converted self-catering apartments in a listed eighteenth century Coach House in the grounds of a Grade 2* moated manor house. The apartments accommodate from 1 to 12 people when occupied separately, but are also ideal for groups of up to 24 who can enjoy the exclusive use of the entire building.
The holiday accommodation stands in the centre of ancient parkland which is the site of a deserted medieval village, all part of the 800 acre farm. The sympathetic conversion has retained as many original features as possible, such as the ornate workings of the nineteenth century coach house clock, the winch mechanism to the granary and the herringbone stone floors, as well as creating an attractive and comfortable ambience in a unique building.
Activities available include walking, cycling, fishing, nature trails, bird watching, badger watching, children’s play area, tennis on the one acre of beautiful lawns and inclusive guided tours of the deserted medieval village and farm.
General facilities in each apartment include: open plan kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge & freezer; TV, DVD and CD player, internet access and central heating. Onsite there is also table tennis, toys, games, DVDs and videos. Each apartment has an individual outdoor seating area. Visitors are welcome to relax/play in the extensive Hall gardens and grounds, and to use the grass tennis court and lawns for croquet/clock golf/football/barbecues. Cots and highchairs are available, on request, free of charge.
Granary apartment: 5 star accommodation sleeps 8 + cots and 2 double sofa beds.
Saddle room apartment: 4 star accommodation sleeps 3/4 + cots and double sofa bed.
Stables apartment: 4 star accommodation sleeps 3/4 + cots and double sofa bed
In all 3 apartments, we can sleep up to 24 people and Granary Apartment has a huge living area where 24 can sit down for celebrations meals - two recent large extended family group bookings include 3 generations for a 60th birthday and 4 generations for an 80th birthday! |

This was our second visit to Brackenborough and this time we took over the whole of the building as we were part of a large group. The accommodation is fantastic and far superior to any I've stayed in before! The granary apartment easily accommodated 28 of us for socialising and dining and you still didn't feel on top of each other. The apartments are very well stocked with everything you might need and some things you don't even realise you do need! The setting is so peaceful you can completely relax and know the kids are safe too.
Paul and Flora are very friendly and welcoming and it was a pleasure to see them again. The farm tour is very interesting and all of our group thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at Brackenborough. There is absolutely no doubt that we will return and it remains as my number one choice for a self catering break in the UK.
