If it's a combination of private villa and boutique hotel you're after, then look no further! Situated in 1.5 hectares of Moroccan countryside, there are 3 stand-alone, individually-styled villas with private plunge pool, terrace and garden. There is also a swimming pool, bar, first-class clay tennis court, quality catering, cookery lessons, on site shop, table tennis, darts and beauty treatments in your own villa. Children will adore our resident naughty donkey, Doris, the two arrogant peacocks, Frank & Stein, even the guinea fowl, goats and chickens!
Within 15 mins of the villas, there are three 18 hole golf courses or we can organise day trips to the Ourika Valley , the charming coastal town of Essaouria, the Barrage Lake, or the Atlas mountains, along with a specially prepared picnic for your trip, if you wish. Other activities include horse riding, cultural tours, shopping, white water rafting, canyoning, trekking, hot air balooning, quad biking and camel treks.
All of the villas have tea and coffee making facilities and a well -stocked drinks fridge is available in the villa’s Moroccan pantry for your convenience and is re-stocked daily. We also boast a DVD collection of over 400 English titles, for a cosy night in by the fire! The accommodation available at Villas Fawakay include:
Villa Laklak: 2 bed villa that marries Moroccan tradition with contemporary style. There is 1 upstairs suite and 1 downstairs suite and can be rented as a whole or as separate suites. There is a light & airy lounging area with superb garden views, flat screen TV and DVD, and also a private dining room for six. Both rooms are equipped with a wood burning fireplace which is lit in winter.
Villa Taos: sleeps 6+cots in 2 large double en suite bedrooms and 1 upstairs suite. The villa is decorated in rich earthy tones and adorned with a mix of African treasures and traditional Moroccan pieces To one side of the domed hallway, you have an African style sitting room with wood burning pise fireplace, flatscreen TV and DVD player. To the other side you have a private dining room, again with open pise fireplace.
The upstairs master suite boasts two private terraces with sun loungers, and shaded seating area. Just outside the flowing drapes of your downstairs hallway is the private plunge pool. Villa Taos has the largest and most secluded gardens of all three villas complete with a Moroccan Berber tent where you can while away the day on plump cushions and sipping mint tea.
Villa Sannor: sleeps 6+cots and has two large en suite double bedrooms and an upstairs suite with enormous bathroom. It is available to rent in its entirety. .A calm and airy villa, Sannor is decorated in minimalist style and inspired by the refined simplicity of the Berber tribespeople. To one side of the domed hallway, which houses a decadent daybed, is the Berber salon with flatscreen TV and DVD player. A large fireplace decorated with characters from the Tifghelt, the ancient Berber alphabet, can be lit in colder weather. To the other side is your private dining room, again with open fireplace.
Outside is a private plunge pool, and you can take a stroll along the garden path to your very own Moroccan summerhouse at the foot of your small domain plus the upstairs suite has 2 roof terraces. |
